So, I skipped the first couple weeks that I said that I was going to do this, but here we go….
Saturday 7/16/16: Mud volleyball tournament. 7 games in the blazing sun was plenty of activity for the day. We went 5-2 and had a blast. Still bummed that I forgot to take any pictures. Ate 2 eggs, bacon, and a piece of whole grain toast for breakfast. Lots of fruit and some trail mix throughout the day. Pizza for lunch. Supper was AMAZING, baked salmon, roasted potatoes, asparagus, and fried green tomatoes.
Monday 7/18/16: Ran/walk 1.5 miles. 4 sets of 25 kettle bell swings, 20 squats. Oatmeal for breakfast. Supper was steak, roasted sweet potato fries, and pan seared zucchini. There’s been someone at work bringing in fresh zucchini from their garden, so I’ve been eating zucchini a LOT lately. For dessert I had a Yoplait Whip yogurt in vanilla cupcake.
Tuesday 7/19/16: Ran/walk 1.5 miles. 4 sets of 25 kettle swings (20#), 20 situps, and 20 pushups. Taco night, with roasted mini peppers stuffed with mushroom and salsa on the side.
Wednesday 7/20/16: Ran/walk 2 miles. 3 sets of 15 lateral raises (12#), 15 bicep curls (12#), 15 tricep press (20#), and 15 roman chair situps. Dinner was a quesadilla filled with mushroom, onions, and leftover steak with avocado on the side.
Thursday 7/21/16: A MUCH needed rest day…..SO SORE!!! Bowl of cereal for supper.
Friday 7/22/16: Lots of walking, but essentially another rest day. Dinner date at Taco Mama with my girl and my besties!
